Scam Type 1:“先付Bond,我给你保留房子”
骗子在Flatmates.com.au或Domain post假房源,房租便宜20-30%吸引你。声称:
- “房子很热门,需要你们快速deposit房间”
- “我在中国工作不在Australia,能否bank transfer bond”
- “先付2周rent作为保证金,其他周到时候pay”
典型对白:“This property is very popular. I need a $500 deposit deposit to hold your room. Transfer to my account XXXXXXX. Once you arrive and see the property, we process check-in”
Why scam:钱transfer后,“房东”disappear。或者你到Australia发现address不存在,或者property已由其他人出租。
Red flag to identify:
